When our third son came along, our gear didn't just grow — it multiplied. Suddenly every trip meant more bags, more boots, more helmets, more everything, and none of it fit together. We'd load up for a ski weekend and the car would look like a yard sale on wheels: loose boots and helmets rolling around in the trunk, bags sliding into each other every time we hit a turn. For a few years, our fix was a big hockey duffel. We'd drive from New Jersey up to Vermont for ski trips, and that duffel was the one thing holding it all together — literally. Everything went in, the zipper somehow closed, and we called it packed. But "in the bag" isn't the same as organized. It was contained chaos, not real organization — we just couldn't tell yet, because as long as we were driving, the mess stayed in the trunk where we couldn't see it.

Then we moved to Texas — and started flying to the mountains. That's when the hockey duffel met its match. No more loading a quiet car in our own driveway — now that same bag was getting tossed on a conveyor belt, thrown into a cargo hold, and handed back to us looking like it had been in a fight. Every time we landed, we'd unzip it to a jumbled pile: boots mixed in with base layers, helmets crushing whatever was underneath, no idea where anything was until we'd dumped it all out on a hotel bed. That was the moment it clicked for me: a bigger bag was never the answer. What our family actually needed wasn't more room to shove things into — it was a system. Something that kept a family of five's gear separated, protected, and easy to find, whether it was riding in the back of our car or getting thrown around an airport by strangers.

So I built it. I'm Danielle — mom of three boys, and the founder of WOLFPACK. I didn't set out to start a gear company. I set out to solve a problem I was living through every single trip: how do you actually pack for a family that adventures hard, without turning every departure into chaos and every arrival into a mystery bag of mismatched gear? The answer became the Alpha Family Pack — a large-format, wheeled modular duffel built around removable dividers and ventilated packing cubes. It reconfigures for whatever the trip calls for: ski weekend, campsite, road trip, national park. Everyone's gear stays separated, organized, and protected — no more digging through one giant pile to find a single missing boot.
